The Double Barrel double taper fly line from Ballistic uses modern micro balloon fly line coatings that float high and are super slick for great casting and floatability. This line has a 13’ front taper for softly landing dry flies. We built this fly line with glass rods in mind, however, we love fishing this line on 3-5wt rods on carbon rods when we are fishing indicators and mending a long ways or when we need to make lots of dry fly casts with no need to strip in the fly line before making the next cast. This is a premium fly line and we are excited it is finally here.
